Our company is looking for a dynamic and ambitious Solar Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for renewable energy and enjoys working as part of a group to achieve a common goal. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping our commercial building clients find their ideal solar solution and work with them to help them achieve their goals in transitioning from traditional energy sources to solar power. 

We expect the highest level of sales competency, and we reward that with above average commissions paid, per deal. Average Solar Sales Consultants can earn over $100,000/ year with top earners making $200,000 +. Your success will be determined by your ability to learn the technology, prospecting, and keep organized to follow up with potential customers, while pursuing a passionate and resilient approach to your career. 

This is a 100% commission position with 100% uncapped commissions and bonuses paid for high performance. Your earning potential is unlimited, and we intend to grow leaders to be promoted from within. 

Summary: 

Srinergy Solar Consultants are very different from any other solar company’s sales team. We expect our consultants to become experts in understanding solar technology and have a very high level of comfort making educated recommendations. This is a home-based position but there is local travel required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn solar technology and become proficient with our proposal software.
  • Generate Leads: Identify and pursue potential customers who are interested in solar energy solutions. This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events and leveraging online resources.  
  • Prospect to schedule appointments and follow up with prospects to win their business.
  • Ability to develop new business relationships with commercial building owners and enterprises to grow our business.
  • Learn solar technology and become proficient with our proposal software.
  • Customize Solutions: Tailor solar energy solutions to meet the specific needs and requirements of each customer. Provide detailed information about benefits, cost savings, and environmental impact of solar energy systems.  Prepare professional presentations for commercial building owners.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their energy needs and access the feasibility of solar energy solutions for their businesses.
  • Present Proposals: Create and present compelling proposals to potential customers, outlining the financial benefits, tax incentives, and ROI of switching to solar energy.  When meeting with a building owner it’s essential to ask the right questions and thoughtfully discuss the presentation materials in order to work up educated proposals to meet the needs and goals of the commercial building owners.
  • Set and achieve sales targets.
  • Close Sales: Use your persuasive skills to close deals and secure signed contracts for solar energy installations.
  • Overcome Objections: Address customer concerns and objections, providing clear and persuasive responses to facilitate the sales process.
  • Provide superior customer service to move customers to advocates in order to obtain referrals.
  • Post-Sale Support: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering guidance, and ensuring a smooth transition to the installation process. 
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and customer information. Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferable experience in the Solar industry
  • 1 years of successful outside/in-home sales experience
  • Proven ability to close deals consistently
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be comfortable with Outlook, Outlook Calendar, and utilizing CRM tools as well as proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is a must.
  • Good understanding of commercial electrical systems, including 3 phase systems.
